CamperContact is a handy app for finding pitches and campsites. Our nice motorhome neighbours here in Albufeira, Lena and Arne, told us about this app. We have now downloaded the app, which is called CamperContact. We have tested a bit and the app seems very smooth!

Around Sweden, there are more than 350 rest areas, which are managed on behalf of Transport Authority. These include information boards, seating areas with tables and the possibility to dispose of rubbish. Many of the rest areas also have latrine facilities.

Margareta and Bobo Jonilson, who also run the online magazine Nomadliv, have been camping in Eastern Europe this summer. And that trip turned into a book, which is very nice for all of us! The trip went from Estonia to Slovenia, and in the book they have concentrated on describing eight capital cities in Eastern Europe: Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest and Ljubljana.

We searched all autumn for a book about travelling with a motorhome in Europe. As a first-time traveller, there are so many questions. How do you get gas down there? Which roads are good to drive? How to stay overnight without being attacked by "road pirates" .... well, you know. But there were no books! Now we've finally found one.
