Heidi Laxström lives in Ostrobothnia, Finland, with her husband and their three children, aged between 10 months and 8 years. Just over five years ago the family bought a motorhome and since then they have travelled around many different countries in Europe, including Croatia, Italy, the Balkans, England and Scotland.

Read moreCorsica-Sardinia ferry, how does it work? Good in our experience. Ferries run from Bonifacio in southern Corsica to Santa Teresa in northern Sardinia. The Corsica-Sardinia ferry takes 50 minutes and is easy to continue travelling with your motorhome. The ferries are very frequent and we were there 45 minutes before.

In Propiano there is a harbour with many small boats, and although the village only has just over 3000 inhabitants, there are plenty of cosy restaurants. Read moreMost beautiful beaches in Corsica, and we have received requests for more pictures of the blue sea and the beaches of Corsica, and this request is not difficult to fulfil! We are still at the campsite at "Plage Cupabia" on the west coast, south of Ajaccio. We have been sunbathing and swimming all day, as well as taking a walk along the paths that run just above the beaches. It's so stunningly beautiful everywhere that it's hard to believe.
