Yesterday it was time for the first day at the Caravan Stockholm 2018 fair. Peter had to stand at the fair himself because I (Helena) was working, and he came home with lots of impressions! The Matka travel fair in Helsinki is not only Finland's largest travel fair, but the largest travel fair in the entire Nordic region. We arrived in Helsinki by plane just before lunchtime yesterday, and then we hung out at the fair for most of the day.

The absolute best thing that happened this week is that we are now booked to speak at Caravan Stockholm 2018. It will really be so fun! Also, we got a refund on a deal we had completely given up on, and we are preparing the 5-course dinner for the weekend. Happy Friday!

Last Thursday, a full day for the travel industry was organised in Stockholm. During the day, Travel News Market 2017 was held at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress centre and in the evening the event continued, in a more festive style, at Café Opera. Elmia Husvagn Husbil, the Nordic region's largest trade fair for mobile life, is often referred to as the campers' New Year's Eve. Last year, more than 36,000 people visited the fair, which is the big camping festival of the year. On 6 - 10 September it's time again, but unfortunately we won't be there this year. We'll still tell you what's happening - and remind you of some of the highlights from last year!
