The Matka travel fair in Helsinki is not only Finland's largest travel fair, but the largest travel fair in the entire Nordic region. We arrived in Helsinki by plane just before lunchtime yesterday, and then we hung out at the fair for most of the day.

We hadn't planned to go to Helsinki at all, but yesterday we decided and booked flight tickets. Why this? Well, the big travel fair Matka is going on now and over the weekend. We hadn't really planned to go there, but then we couldn't resist... And there's a motorhome fair at the same time!

It's getting closer! On 15-18 February it is time for the Caravan Stockholm 2018 fair at Kistamässan in Stockholm. We will both lecture and stand on a stand during the fair, and now we can present a little more about the programme. Hope you want to come and meet us!?

The absolute best thing that happened this week is that we are now booked to speak at Caravan Stockholm 2018. It will really be so fun! Also, we got a refund on a deal we had completely given up on, and we are preparing the 5-course dinner for the weekend. Happy Friday!

Last Thursday, a full day for the travel industry was organised in Stockholm. During the day, Travel News Market 2017 was held at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress centre and in the evening the event continued, in a more festive style, at Café Opera. We were there, of course, and here is our report.

Elmia Husvagn Husbil, the Nordic region's largest trade fair for mobile life, is often referred to as the campers' New Year's Eve. Last year, more than 36,000 people visited the fair, which is the big camping festival of the year. On 6 - 10 September it's time again, but unfortunately we won't be there this year. We'll still tell you what's happening - and remind you of some of the highlights from last year!

FREEDOMtravel is testing! Yesterday, when we went to the trade fairs, Peter packed both trainers and swimming trunks. "What on earth are you going to do?", I thought. "Testing stuff!", was the answer. No sooner said than done, FREEDOMtravel has now tested 7 activities at the Wilderness Fair and the All for the Lake Fair.
