On 16-19 February, Stockholm's own motorhome and caravan fair will take place: Caravan Stockholm. The fair usually marks the start of the camping season, and although it's not the biggest camping fair in Sweden, there's always interesting news to be found. This year you can also listen to ... us! We will have a table during the fair and hold no less than two different lectures.

The year is coming to an end and it's almost time to look forward to an exciting new year. But before that, we will summarise the motorhome and travel year 2016. There were a total of ten trips abroad (plus two Åland cruises) and three slightly longer motorhome trips in Sweden. Wow, what a year it has been!

We have now experienced a real chocolate festival in Croatia, in the beautiful coastal town of Opatija. Everything is chocolate-themed, from workshops and art events to chocolate-themed concerts (!) and activities for children. We also got to experience a chocolate massage in Opatija. Last Thursday, Peter visited the Senior Fair at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö. We had heard that many exhibitors in travel & tourism would be there and of course wanted to check the situation. And yes, many travel destinations were there!

There are lots of different camping and motorhome clubs, especially if you count the motorhome brands' own clubs. But, even if we ignore them, there are quite a few different associations to choose from. What do they offer? Is there any difference? We have just returned from the Elmia Husvagn Husbil fair, where we spent a whole week. Perhaps the most fun part of this week was all the people we met. Among other things, we met a whole bunch of wonderful motorhome bloggers. Several of them we have followed for many years, but this was in many cases the first time we met for real.
