We have now visited the Rhine Falls in Switzerland, or Rheinfall as it is called in German. This waterfall is Europe's largest and second widest, and here you can see impressive amounts of water flowing. To get here, we drove along the Grand Tour of Switzerland, that is, the beautiful road through Switzerland.

We have now visited Lucerne in Switzerland, and this is a city we really fell in love with! Besides being characterised by its beautiful old wooden bridges, the city is surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes. We made our way to the top of Mount Pilatus, using the world's steepest rack-and-pinion railway.
Read moreIn the Ardeche region of France, you'll find unparalleled scenery with a dramatic canyon, a long river with crystal clear water and intensely green forests. There are also lots of deep caves, some of which are home to 36,000-year-old paintings. We tried gliding down the long river in a canoe and fell in love. We want to go back!

Here, nature is wild and beautiful, and in many places it intrudes and takes over what humans once built. Here you will find paradise beaches for naturists, flowers of all colours, cosy little restaurants and a lively nightlife.

The beautiful island Île Sainte-Marguerite is one of the so-called Lerin islands, and here we could, among other things, swim as well as check out lyxy yachts and odd water activities.
Read moreWe have to admit that we fell in love with Umbria in Italy, and we understand why this part of the country has sometimes been called the green heart of Italy. Here the olive groves are dense, the hills are intensely green, and the small medieval villages bustle with everyday life, while vegetables are bought and sold in the squares. Somehow this feels like the genuine and real Italy, far from the touristy parasol beaches on the coasts.
