Now it was all over for us! Today we have changed our bathroom window. A small old window has become a large modern one. Now we have a fantastic view from the bathroom and out over the water.

Firstly, we had shelter, as the wind was blowing from the other side. And the windows were the right size this time, so we didn't have to saw.

We want triple-glazed windows everywhere and in several places there will be much larger windows than today. We have also bought windows where the wood is protected by aluminium, so that they are more resistant to the weather.

On the lower deck there are not even real windows. Someone has just bought sheets of glass and put them in frames. Read moreJust when you start to relax, there's a setback... When Peter went into the boiler room today, he discovered water running down the wall. Panic! He looked along all the pipes and tore down the ceiling. No pipes were broken. Instead, it seems that large amounts of rainwater have leaked in through the kitchen window and run down the walls. Not good!
