Happy Friday: Here is my life. Part 8

Okay, here we go, and this is Peter talking on Fridays. After an apartment deal, we had 300,000 in the account. We had worked hard and now we were going to travel and the kids were coming with us. We booked New Zealand for all four with adventures every day for three weeks, and planned the journey from the North to the South Island with maps and in kilometres.

Happy Friday: Hot in Malta

OK, here we go and it's Peter in Malta at the controls. Full speed from 02.45 Thursday morning because our bus left 04.14 from Fridhemsplan. Good start, hmm. We were delayed and had to run to the bus in the morning with packing, and if no one else would get on the bus in Fridhemsplan we would have really missed it. Ok, now we are on track and we are going to Malta and how fun and what a first day.

Guest of the Week: Linda Hammarberg, round-the-world sailor

In 2010, Linda and Ludvig Hammarberg embarked on a four-year voyage around the world with their children Lovis and Otto, then aged 4 and 2. With the 40-foot-long sailing boat S/Y Mary, they sailed across the world's oceans and visited lots of exotic places in Africa, Southeast Asia, Polynesia and the Caribbean.

Guest of the Week: Peter Grip, globetrotter

Peter Grip has achieved the feat of visiting ALL 196 independent states in the world. He started travelling seriously in 1989 when he backpacked for several months and in 2010, when he was actually only 42 years old, he 'finished' in Tonga - the last white spot on his map. By then he had visited the 195 independent states in the world, and when South Sudan became independent in December 2010, he was of course quick to add country number 196!
