We were really pleased with our hotel in El Gouna, Egypt. The Sultan Bey is beautifully located on a lagoon in luxurious El Gouna, and because it's small, it feels cosy and homely.

Snorkelling in the Red Sea can really be an amazing experience with crystal clear waters and colourful fish around the coral reefs. We took a full day trip with a snorkelling tour in El Gouna, and we didn't regret it.

If you're travelling to Hurghada, Egypt, don't miss out on the Hurghada Marina Boulevard. The marina in Hurghada is a peaceful oasis with a beautiful promenade, long rows of magnificent luxury yachts and plenty of restaurants and outdoor cafes. The city's fish market and the large Al Mina mosque are also close by.

If you're looking for a good restaurant in El Gouna, we highly recommend a visit to the Hydra Seafood Restaurant, located in the centre of Downtown. We spent a nice evening here, with fantastic fish and seafood.

Zeytouna Beach Island is a small island in El Gouna, Egypt. You go here to sunbathe, swim or snorkel and enjoy beautiful days by the Red Sea. There is a shuttle boat from our hotel to the island, so we went here two days in a row.

Our flight from Stockholm to Hurghada in Egypt went really well, and the five hours in the air disappeared unexpectedly quickly. When we arrived in Hurghada, it turned out that we had booked a hotel in El Gouna. Exciting!
