Tyresö Castle is beautifully situated by Kalvfjärden in Tyresö, just south of Stockholm. We went here one day last week when we both strolled in the English park and had a picnic on Notholmen. In addition, there was a nice hike on a small part of the Pilgrim Trail, in Alby nature reserve.

Yangtorp is something as unusual as a giant qigong temple in Skåne. In the middle of the Scanian landscape, among fields, cows and cottages, rises the magnificent and ornate temple. For a long time the temple lay in ruins and was robbed of everything of value. Now it has risen again, and today qigong courses, retreats and conferences are organised here.

Rörstrand Castle in Stockholm - the castle you never knew existed

Located in the centre of Stockholm, Rörstrand Castle is perhaps one of Stockholm's least known (and most hidden!) castles. We live relatively close to the castle and almost every day we pass the large porcelain pile that reminds us of what was once the Rörstrand porcelain factory. One day we decided to explore the history of the castle and the factory. It was even more exciting than expected, not least because this turned out to be almost the last chance to see the inside of the castle.
