When we travelled home on Sunday from our Motorhome weekend at Jogersö we needed a place to stop and eat our lunchtime lamb sausage. What could be better than a castle? I googled on my iPhone and that's how we found Tullgarn Castle outside Trosa. Here we walked around in the footsteps of kings and tsars, while learning why the shopping centre in Huddinge is called "Kungens kurva"...

Femöre - barren rocks and military history in Oxelösund

On the way home from Jogersö camping in Oxelösund, we took the opportunity to drive past the island of Femöre, which is connected to the mainland by a small bridge. We had been advised to check out the lighthouse keeper's house, the Femöre fortress and, not least, the view. We were not disappointed, so to speak! In addition, it was a real British summer on Sunday, with sunny and warm autumn weather.

Trosa havsbad and camping - nice on the waterfront

We rolled past the caravan park in Trosa yesterday, which was full of motorhomes, and continued out on the small bridge towards Trosa havsbad and camping. Trosa's site is excellent, but we have been there many times and were a little curious about the campsite.
