Mountain biking in Zermatt, Switzerland! We are not exaggerating when we say that this is one of the most amazing nature experiences we have ever had. We took the bikes on ski lifts up the mountain and then travelled down, along a bike trail. Moderately challenging, not too strenuous and absolutely stunningly beautiful.

Diving in Malta at last! Peter got the chance to dive in Marsalforn in Gozo, Malta. He got to do a private dive with an instructor, as his diving licence is not yet complete. How do you actually learn to dive? Peter did a small test dive on The Wilderness Fair a few weeks ago and was immediately hooked. He wanted to try this again! He booked a course at the fair and took the course books and films home with him. The course started last Friday, and this weekend has been two intense days centred around diving. Do you like football or hockey? Would you like to go on a football or hockey trip, or have you even been on one? My interest in sports is probably a bit too vague for Peter to attract me, but his niece Dessi and her husband Lasse (who got married last summer) and Dessi's family (parents, brother and girlfriend) have a much stronger interest. They have just returned from a really exciting hockey trip in Canada - and we took the opportunity to interview Dessi about the trip!
