We have now found a pitch in Pozzallo, Sicily. High season and 35 degree heat is stressful when travelling, and Sicily is probably better at another time of the year. Campsites are of course also significantly more expensive during the high season and we would like to find affordable pitches, but asphalt parking without shade is tough in the heat ... One positive thing is that despite the high season, it has not been full anywhere.

Read moreNow we are standing on a pitch in Valencia here in Spain, namely Valencia Camper Park. We have left Benidorm behind us and are looking forward to a few days with a really colourful festival. Right now there is a calm before the storm, so to speak. And this campsite in Valencia is perfect for resting!
Read moreCamperContact is a handy app for finding pitches and campsites. Our nice motorhome neighbours here in Albufeira, Lena and Arne, told us about this app. We have now downloaded the app, which is called CamperContact. We have tested a bit and the app seems very smooth!
