Brunch at Hobo hotel in Stockholm

We've tried brunch at the Hobo Hotel. Last Saturday, after the big event at the Sheraton hotel In Stockholm, a small group of bloggers met for brunch at the new design hotel Hobo Hotel on Brunkebergs torg. We met some of our best travel blogger friends and at the same time could enjoy really good food in the sun on Hobo's relaxed outdoor terrace.

Last weekend we had the chance to try a helicopter ride over Stockholm, and we just say Waow! Stockholm is a beautiful city and it becomes even more obvious when you see it from above. We can really recommend this from Upplevelsepresent.se when you want to surprise someone with something special.

Perhaps the best sushi in Stockholm

This weekend we visited our friends Lennart and Beata, who live in Bromma in Stockholm. Instead of being invited for dinner (which we thought we would be), they wanted to invite us to their nearest sushi restaurant. We love sushi so we had absolutely nothing against it, but we didn't realise that we would be invited to what is perhaps the best sushi in Stockholm...!

Summer at Lake Karlberg in Stockholm

Summer finally arrived! As if it was never spring. Just a few days ago I was wearing a down jacket and mittens, and it was snowing. Do you remember? Yesterday I was sweating in my jeans and my thin, thin summer jacket. Fantastic! As you may know, I (and Peter!) walk to work every day. Chinese fine dining in Stockholm

Chinese food has got a bit of a bad reputation in our part of the world, unfortunately. At best, you might think of a tasty, but predictable, "four small dishes" at a suburban restaurant with a red plush interior. That's not necessarily wrong in itself, but Chinese food can be so much more than that! Last Thursday evening, my old colleagues celebrated my departure and we took the opportunity to try Chinese fine dining in Stockholm.

Walking to work

Yesterday I started a new job and one good thing about it (besides being a very interesting service!) is that I can start walking to work. Everyday exercise is good, but it's not always easy to do it, especially if you have a sedentary job. But here goes!

Heavenly tapas at Aqui Tapas & Bar

So, how good and nice can it be to go out to eat one evening? Last Saturday we joined Peter's eldest son Robin and his wife Alexandra, as well as Robin's mum, sister and sister's boyfriend, at a tapas restaurant in Stockholm. It was an evening of heavenly tapas, mango daquiris, juggling bottles and of course lots of talking and laughing.
