Brunch in Stockholm - try K4 in Pampas marina

Want to try a really good brunch in Stockholm? Then we can recommend restaurant K4 in Pampas marina in Solna. As you may know, we live in a houseboat here. There is a restaurant down here in the marina and last spring it got new owners. We have long thought that we would visit the new restaurant, but it has not happened until Sunday, when the restaurant invited us residents to brunch. Wow, we just say! If you want high quality brunch in an idyllic setting - then you should definitely come here!

Sushi on a conveyor belt in Mall of Scandinavia

Yesterday we tried sushi on a conveyor belt in the Mall of Scandinavia in Solna. Or rather, Peter has actually tried it before, but this time he took me with him. We were going to shop for some clothes for once and at the same time we thought we would take the opportunity to eat sushi - on a conveyor belt. Really fun, I must say. And yes, good too!

What an intense week!

On Sunday we came home late in the evening (read: night). On Monday morning it was time for me to go to work and for Peter to start with blog work, invoices, meetings and fixing the houseboat. This week has really gone sooo fast. We still have a lot to be happy about! Today there will be another film from Wismar and a report both from our houseboat and from the new commuter train station in Stockholm.

Brunch at Hobo hotel in Stockholm

We've tried brunch at the Hobo Hotel. Last Saturday, after the big event at the Sheraton hotel In Stockholm, a small group of bloggers met for brunch at the new design hotel Hobo Hotel on Brunkebergs torg. We met some of our best travel blogger friends and at the same time could enjoy really good food in the sun on Hobo's relaxed outdoor terrace.

Perhaps the best sushi in Stockholm

This weekend we visited our friends Lennart and Beata, who live in Bromma in Stockholm. Instead of being invited for dinner (which we thought we would be), they wanted to invite us to their nearest sushi restaurant. We love sushi so we had absolutely nothing against it, but we didn't realise that we would be invited to what is perhaps the best sushi in Stockholm...!

Summer at Lake Karlberg in Stockholm

Summer finally arrived! As if it was never spring. Just a few days ago I was wearing a down jacket and mittens, and it was snowing. Do you remember? Yesterday I was sweating in my jeans and my thin, thin summer jacket. Fantastic! As you may know, I (and Peter!) walk to work every day. We tend to get stuck in front of our computers in our houseboat. There is always something we want to fix with the blog or something. It is admittedly very fun and engaging, but it's still lucky that we have friends who pull us out sometimes.
