Yesterday, I (Helena) visited Norrtälje, often referred to as the capital of Roslagen, on business. I work in the Stockholm County Council and since the county stretches from Södertälje in the south to Norrtälje in the north, there are sometimes longer journeys for meetings. After the meeting, the sun was shining in Norrtälje and I took a short walk along the Norrtälje river.

Yesterday was All Saints' Day and we visited the cemetery with my (Helena's) family, and then enjoyed a game menu at Skänkstugan in Täby. So today we will take some food pictures, and at the same time we will (unexpectedly) immerse ourselves in chemical elements. Or well, we'll stay pretty superficial to the subject ...
Read moreI quite often, work permitting, work from home on Fridays. Yesterday I was working intensively on a document I needed to finish, and in the middle of the day I felt I needed a break to clear my head. It was a walk along Hornsberg beach - with my camera at the ready, of course. So ... follow me through Hornsberg beach park and to Sandö Sugga lighthouse!
Read moreWhat is it that has landed? Suddenly there is a Swiss igloo on Norrmalmstorg in Stockholm, and on Tuesday we were invited to the igloo for a Swiss "After Ski". On Monday morning it was time for me to go to work and for Peter to start with blog work, invoices, meetings and fixing the houseboat. This week has really gone sooo fast. We still have a lot to be happy about! Today there will be another film from Wismar and a report both from our houseboat and from the new commuter train station in Stockholm.
Read moreThis week has been a bit different because Peter and I have been apart, and we're not used to that. I'm at home working and Peter is building a log house on an island in Lake Mälaren. So what's "Happy" about that?

We met some of our best travel blogger friends and at the same time could enjoy really good food in the sun on Hobo's relaxed outdoor terrace.
