Mountain biking in Zermatt, Switzerland! We are not exaggerating when we say that this is one of the most amazing nature experiences we have ever had. We took the bikes on ski lifts up the mountain and then travelled down, along a bike trail. Moderately challenging, not too strenuous and absolutely stunningly beautiful.

Mink in Poland! We have long dreamed of seeing wild bison in Poland and finally reached our biggest goal: the Bialowieza Forest, or Bialowieza National Park, in the eastern part of the country. This wild primeval forest extends over a vast area on both sides of the border between Poland and Belarus.

Holidays in Zakopane! We have travelled to Zakopane, located in the Tatra Mountains in Poland, south of Krakow and on the border with Slovakia. This city offers breathtaking scenery, beautiful houses and a pedestrianised street filled with bric-a-brac.

Punkva caves are located in Blansko, just north of Brno in the Czech Republic. These large caves are filled with stalagtites, stalagmites and fascinating rock formations. However, what makes this cave particularly worth visiting is the green and grassy area in the centre of the cave and the underground river where you can glide along in a boat.

We set out to find the cool rock formations in the Czech Republic called Adrspach rocks, but it wasn't easy to get there. We drove smoothly from Poland and across the Sudeten Mountains into the Czech Republic, but the road leading to Adrspach was closed.

Djurgården in Stockholm is known for its large natural areas and for entertainment and culture such as Skansen, Gröna Lund and various museums and restaurants. We took a walk here last weekend and wanted to share some photos from what feels like an oasis in the centre of the city.

Updated 2023 - Plitvice Lakes in Croatia is a national park and nature reserve with dramatic waterfalls, beautiful lakes and vast green forests. We visited Plitvice National Park in October in the autumn, and there was so much water that the waterfalls almost overflowed their banks. Regardless of the season, this is an extraordinary nature experience.
