Here we took the opportunity to visit the candy shop for wine lovers. We have been to Valpolicella several times before and visited the vineyards. Yesterday we had a white wine tasting and dinner with Peter's sons Robin and Billie, and Robin's wife Alexandra, here in the houseboat. We tried six different white wines, some that I received at my dissertation and some that we bought ourselves. The dinner had a seafood theme, of course, to suit.

The dinner was organised at the home of Robin (Peter's son) and Alexandra, who also made all the hot tapas. We took cold tapas with us. Wow, how much food there was! And how delicious!
