Very good and summarising guide, Mikulov is a fantastic little town on the border with Austria!

For those travelling through Prague, I can really recommend checking out the Vinohradsky pivovar brewery in Prague 2: https://www.praguebeergarden.com/pubs/post/vinohradsky-pivovar-prague-microbrewery

Very good food, and beer of course! 🙂

I really like Prague 2 and the Vinohrady district, close to the centre and they have many of the best pubs and restaurants in Prague; https://bohemianbrews.cz/se/prags-stadsdelar-guide/

Thank you for your nice page about the Czech Republic! I think the country is the crown for us who love the culture of Central Europe. I only know the fantastic Prague so far, but this summer I will be travelling from Vienna to Mikulov, on to Brno with a detour to Telc. Then to Olomouc and finally via Prague to the Handel Festival in Halle Germany. What do you think of that journey? We are also looking forward to the Spatriangle, but that will be next time. .

    • Peter says:

It sounds like a wonderful trip and I know beforehand that you will be very happy. If the Czech Republic had a beach and a sea, then they would have the most tourists in Europe. They have a lot to offer and it is a beautiful country to stay in. It is also a country without religion in a way because most people are non-believers. Good luck and thank you for writing!
